Absolutely the best midwife in South Africa , when I had no where to have my baby she welcomed me with open arms , and made my labour as pain free and comfortable as possible, the nicest people you will ever meet.

I was absolutely blown away by the sheer presence, calm power, humble nature, kind eyes and incredible care and expertise displayed by Victoria when I attended a birth with her. I absolutely recommend her to any pregnant and birthing woman.

Victoria and Ashley are an amazing team. I had a pretty easy pregnancy, but with each appointment my laundry list of questions were answered. The day of my birth and the time spent in the birthing centre was amazing, and even though I ended the day in theatre for an emergency C-section, these two ladies went above and beyond to do everything they could to make the experience as comfortable as possible. Victoria was an absolute angel in surgery and kept assuring me that everything would be fine. She was right! My over achiever of a child came out with incredible APGAR scores and was 100% healthy arriving earth side. Now that we are on the other side of the birth, they are still with me every step of the way. Helping me figure out this first time mom thing, and being an amazing, knowledgeable support to deal with my medical moments and letting me ask ALL the questions. I would recommend Protea Nursing Services to anyone looking for a te of midwives that really care about you as a mom and the well-being of your incoming offspring. Victoria... your secret is out!! ANY mom would be beyond privileged to share their pregnancy journey with your team. Who knows, we may be back with a sibling in a few years.

Sister Victoria is very Supportive she's one of the reasons why I enjoyed my pregnancy I can't thank her enough for bringing my Beautiful baby into the world, there's no amount of money or gifts that could come close to my gratitude I'll forever be greatful.

I was so terrified to go into labour but with the help of stephni and Victoria they put my mind at ease, they answered all of our questions and made us feel super comfortable with the process. They really knew what my body needed and helped me through labour every step of the way, they were so comforting at the most vulnerable time in my life and for that I will never forget the excellent service they gave us!! As a very nervous first time mother, during a global epedemic, living in a country with one of the highest c-section rates in the world, I was naturally terrified. Terrified of birthing (every movie, every story, everything you hear about child birth is terrifying) terrified of being in a hospital with the possibility of either myself or our baby or my partner contracting Corona virus and terrified that my partner would not be allowed to be there with me (due to restrictions put in place by various hospitals and birthing centers in the name of Corona virus) I was even more terrified that I would be coerced into a c-section like so many mothers before me. Victoria guided me through my entire pregnancy, she supported and comforted me and my partner in every possible way. Victoria gave me the confidence to trust my body, trust my instincts and believe that I could birth our child naturally, without any medications or interferences just as nature intended. Victoria spent hours coaching me through my natural unmedicated birth, in the most incredible way, she gave me a gift I will never be able to repay, the gift of time and confidence to slowly, gently and safely birth our baby boy. I cannot put into words just how incredible this woman is and how knowledgeable and capable and intuitive she is as a Midwife. I will be forever be grateful for the gifts she gave me during my pregnancy and home birth. I am a proud first time mother and it's all thanks to Victoria and her team.

As i decided that i wanted a VBAC, i needed the right kind of support - one where i would still be able to make decisions about my birth while trusting the professional. Victoria brings that as well as a sense of serenity and empowerment about the capability of the female body. On 14 June 2019, she kept telling me that i had come too far to quit. Listen, after hours of active labour, i was done. I was ready to quit and opt for a c-section but she was literally my pillar of strength...and everyone else who was present during my natural birth experience.
